How soon after I open my account will I receive my ATM/Debit card and new checks?
You should receive your debit card and checks within 10 business days of opening your account.

What if I lost my ATM/Debit Card? Who do I contact?
During business hours you may contact any branch to report a lost or stolen card. After business hours, please call (800) 554-8969 (Option 1 for lost or stolen cards), available 7 days a week, and 24 hours per day.

I have noticed that my Debit Card transactions appear with different descriptions on my monthly checking account statement. Why is that?
The description of the transaction will depend upon how the card is used for each transaction. A withdrawal from an ATM will display the ATM location and the time of the withdrawal. Transactions conducted at merchant locations using your card and your PIN will also show as a withdrawal with descriptive information about the location. Purchases can also be completed by signing a credit card or transaction receipt, which is referred to as POS or Point of Sale Purchases on your statement. These transactions also provide information about the merchant location. Regardless of how the transaction is completed, your CNB’s Bank statement will provide detailed payment information for your records.

How do I set up Direct Deposit of my paycheck with CNB?
You will need to contact your employer to set up direct deposit. You will need CNB’s Routing Number (021413935), your CNB account number, and our mailing address: 200 Middle Neck Rd. Great Neck, NY 11021.

I completed a transfer between my savings and checking account last night using your telephone banking service. The transfer is not showing today in my balance. Why not?
The cut-off time for transactions initiated through our telephone banking system is 6:00 p.m. Monday through Friday. Any transaction conducted before 6:00 p.m. will post to your account as of the current business day. Any transaction conducted after 6:00 p.m. will be posted to your account as of the next business day.
